Chepchabas Ward hosts a number of multi-national companies in the tea industry that include Unilever, George Williamson and James Finlays (K) Ltd. These tea companies are the major employers in the ward and many of his constituents are these employees. His wish is to ensure that these companies observe the, labour laws, provide better living and working conditions for their employees, honour the pledges they make to their workers, and to provide favourable terms of service to their workers.
In his Ward, development agenda is people-driven so that their needs, aspirations, and priorities are understood and addressed accordingly. So far since being elected to office, Chepchabas community has benefited from opening up of feeder roads and construction of three Early Childhood Educational Centers (ECED) centers. In consultation with the local community, he is also planning other projects that include upgrading of Chepchabas Dispensary, murumming of Koruma-Chepchabas road, provision of clean piped water, extension of rural electrification and establishment of an ICT Center for the community.
